A couple months ago I found this website Gliffy and it has come in handy on several occasions. It's intended to "create and share diagrams", so you can use it to make flow charts or use their "User Interface" tool set to lay out a website interface. There's a free version and a premium version that offers a few advantages. |

This is fantastic! Thanks ntrefz. I just have to agree with the author's point of recommending some of these programs to non-designers or people who just want to complete a simple task. I just recently taught my mom to use Picasa to reduce red-eye in her digital photos. She absolutely loves it and is now playing with the other filters. She would never try to learn Photoshop for cropping, sharpening, etc. especially after watching me do it. It's the only program I used for a long time because, as a designer, I am so comfortable in that environment. While I was teaching my Mom Picasa, I realized that I have finally also (reluctantly, at first) allowed myself to use other programs for simple tasks. It felt like a betrayal at first, but when you take as many photos as I do, Photoshop is NOT the right tool for simple editing of your digital pics! :) |

| I like Photoshop, Artrage, ZBrush. | |

| I love Artrage. Their rendering is engine so realistic. Coupled with a tablet and it's a lot of fun. I sound like I'm getting commission on it, but really I'm just a big fan and I had to comment when you mentioned it. | |

| If I understand the specification correctly, annoyingly only commercial tools are allowed in the TopCoder Arena Navigation Wireframe Design Contest. | |
