FLEX - arriving soon! | Reply
How does everyone feel about their Flex skills? We have had numerous inquiries into building out Flex applications and Flex components. We will be launching Flex competitions in the following weeks - be prepared!

Let me know your thoughts

Thank you

I noticed Flex had started appearing over here on Studio, I am really a developer not an artist though. I am not quite sure how you can use FlexBuilder as an artist's tool when it's a programming IDE... how do these contests work, what is involved?

can we use flex builder ?

There is a designer component to Flex. Interface layout and skinning are generally done by designers. FlexBuilder has a skinning tool and a layout mode that is easy enough for designers. Also, designers who work with HTML code will find MXML not too difficult.

There will be Flex contests on the architecture side of things as well for developers. And developers such as yourself may find that the Studio contests interest you as well.

FYI, we've launched a TopCoder Architecture competition around the Studio-produced Flex Calendar.
