The goal of this contest is to create a When.com theme for the Bebo application profile pages (http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=8639687616). You will design a skin for this page.
This is an exciting opportunity to create a theme that will be used in and around Bebo! This project is highly visible and people using Bebo across the globe may see the results!
Entries must be your original work, and must not infringe on the copyright or licenses of others. Stock art, clip art, templates and other design elements from other sources are prohibited unless specifically permitted here in the Contest Details.
Bebo lets you change your profiles theme or skin. They call this "roll your own". To take a look at the existing skins and to see what is possible, login to www.bebo.com. On the left hand side select "Change Skins". You will then be presented with a current list of featured skins. Select "Try it on" for any skin to see how it looks on your profile. A skin like these is what we are after in this contest.
What is When.com?
The local search engine to discover things to do! when.com helps you quickly find out what's going on, wherever you are. Find local events, movies playing nearby, the perfect Indian restaurant, or where your favorite band is playing next. Not sure what you want to do? That's okay - browse by category, date or location and we bet you'll find something that grabs your attention!
APPLICATION DESIGN REQUIREMENTS
- The application design Photoshop file is provided (Skin_template.zip). You should use the same Photoshop file to design your submission.
- Do not change the layout of the application. We are only looking for you to re-skin the design with the new color palette and new design elements.
IMAGE DESIGN REQUIREMENTS
- Follow the instructions provided in skin_mapping.txt.
- Do NOT duplicate the current theme. You should design a completely new image based on the content provided.
- This image should be exciting, informative and professional.
- Your design should be work well with the rest of the applications as well as the overall look and feel.
ABOUT THIS THEME
Try to capture the essence of when.com in your design! When.com has the latest information for Events, Tickets, Performers, Movies, Restaurants and Venues. With features like "Hot Searches" and "Hot Tickets" when.com surfaces exciting things to do In keeping it?s mission When?s identity is fun, bold, clean and fresh. The content is friendly, helpful, and thoughtful as it recommends restaurants, bars and clubs conveniently near your destination. The overall effect of the profile page should be inviting and not overwhelm the identity/mood that users would experience on When.com itself.

- Remember to check out the existing themes on www.bebo.com! We are expecting submissions of similar if not better quality!

Please provide a screenshot of your design as the preview image. Do not skew, alter, modify or add drop shadows or other filters for dramatic effect.

JUDGING CRITERIA
Your submission will be judged on the following criteria:
Consistency - How well the screens fit together and provide a complete user experience.
Creativity - Creative and innovative designs are highly encouraged.
Usability - How well the design enhances the user experience and how easily the user understands the tasks at ease.

- Upload your submission in three parts (see this FAQs for more information). Your design should be finalized and should contain only a single design concept (do not include multiple designs in a single submission).
- If your submission wins, your source files must be correct and "Final Fixes" (if applicable) must be completed before payment can be released.
- You may submit as many times as you'd like during the submission phase, but only the number of files listed above in the Submission Limit that you rank the highest will be considered. You can change the order of your submissions at any time during the submission phase. If you make revisions to your design, please delete submissions you are replacing.
